Spring Preview
Our first sale of 2017 will offer an exciting variety of motor cars and motorcycles; the line up is headed up by a superb 1958 Jaguar XK150SE Fixed Head Coupe that has been in the same family ownership for twenty five years and was the subject of a major photographic restoration. In contrast, we will offer a J.A.P powered 1932 Morgan Super Sports and a well-restored 1932 Morris Cowley Saloon with 'Sliding Head'; complementing these pre-war examples will be five rare and interesting motor cars: a 1928 Austin Heavy 12/4 Two Seat Tourer with Dickey and coachwork by Mulliners, a 1936 Austin 7 Open Road 4 Seat Tourer, a 1934 Ford Model Y Alpine Tourer with coachwork by Arrow, a 1929 Rover 10/25 Weymann Saloon and a 1947 Alvis TA14 Utility by Angel Motor Bodies.
Mid-twentieth century and later classics are well-represented by two Morris Minor Travellers and a Minor Convertible which was a Dorset car from new, a trio of MG’s, 1967 Jaguar S-Type 3.4 Saloon, two Mini’s, an immaculate 1975 Renault 12 TR Saloon and yet more rarities: a 1973 Audi 80GL, a 1982 Ford Cortina GLS Auto Convertible by Crayford, and a 1981 Isuzu 117 Coupe. More modern examples include a 1995 Mitsubishi GTO, a 1990 Peugeot 205 Roland Garros Convertible and two Mercedes-Benz SLK320 Autos (one of which is pink!).Added to all of this are motorcycles and a superbly restored 1960 Triumph TR3A; for full information on all the entries, please visit our 'vehicles for auction' page.
