Always popular, the Wolseley 1500 is based on the Morris Minor 1000, but with a roomier body, four decent sized doors, a spacious boot and luxurious finishing touches such as wood door cappings and dashboard, improved instrumentation and of course a larger engine with good performance.

This example would be an ideal starter classic, or the basis of a rolling restoration project. It has a number of plus points: the sill panels have been replaced in the past, the underside is solid, the paintwork is described as reasonable, both front seats have had their rear trims replaced, the original headlining and carpets are good and the sports steering wheel, Radial Ply tyres, radiator and exhaust are all relatively new.

The mechanics are described as being good in all departments. Seat belts are fitted at the front, and the motor car is equipped with a tow bar and ‘helper’ springs.

The Wolseley is supplied with a (non-compulsory) MOT test certificate, a factory parts book, the V5C registration certificate and others.
