The engine was reconditioned by Stockley (Yeovil) Ltd of Marston Magna, Somerset prior to being put into store, this genuine barn-find Wolseley entered its very dry storage in 1974 and remained in situ until recently when it was woken from its long hibernation.

From what we can see under the coating of dust, this rare baby Ten appears to be sound and solid, apart from a hole in the right hand running board. The paintwork may respond well to some ‘elbow grease’ and the motor car appears to be complete - it even has the original tools. Importantly, the engine turns.

This rare pre-war project is supplied with the V5 registration document, the RF60 registration book, a 1973 road tax disc and an MOT test certificate dated 25 May 1973, showing a mileage of 17251.
