1976 Moto Guzzi 850-T3 California

Known as a cruiser motorcycle and originating in 1971 when a version was designed in collaboration with the Los Angeles police department. Examples featured bullet proof windshields and sirens. The Highway Patrol of California later acquired the model and they became the familiar sight you did not want in your rear view mirror.

This is a 1976 model in civilian guise with the 844cc V Twin air cooled engine and foot gear change. It has a fitted screen, a dual seat and twin panniers, and the popular model remains in production. This smart and very well cared for example has toured most European countries reliably, with the vendor and his spouse on board, but they have now finally decided to hang their boots and leathers up.

There is a V5C registration certificate and two replacements, two V5 documents, an original handbook, various old MOT test certificates and invoices, plus a Haynes workshop manual with handwritten maintenance notes.
