A great starter classic, the Minor is a highly useable and easy to improve with help from the excellent owner’s club. Cruise all day at relatively sociable speeds, consuming around 40m.p.g. in confidently reliable style and if the worst happens, spares and help as mentioned is readily available, plus much free advice from the passer- by whose uncle probably had one.

Simplicity and good club support are thus what makes the ownership of a ‘Moggie’ all the more attractive. The Minor on offer here is a two door saloon in correct Trafalgar Blue with blue trim. The 1098c.c. engine drives through a four speed synchromesh gearbox enabling the motor car to keep up with modern traffic.

This is a nice original little car which has apparently had three previous keepers. The present owner has known the car for some twenty two years and acquired it in 2019. General condition is described as good in terms of bodywork (four new wing panels have been recently fitted), paint and interior. Mechanically it has had an annual service, a new cylinder head gasket fitted in 2019, a dynamo in 2020 with a battery in the same year.

With this Morris comes a current V5C registration certificate, a selection of old MOT test certificates including the most recent which expires in March 2022, although the vehicle is actually exempt from this. A workshop manual and various invoices are also on file.

A good little classic runabout, ready to Click and Collect.
