A19 MGB is one of 480 Limited Edition Roadster models manufactured to mark the end of MG’s production of the iconic ‘B’ range of sports cars. Now extremely rare, this example appears to be in very original and good condition throughout, with stylish bronze metallic paintwork and gold body tapes, a black factory-fitted front air dam, black leather upholstery, a manual overdrive gearbox and optional chrome wire wheels. Upgrades to the motor car include an alloy rocker cover and a stainless steel exhaust system, and recent maintenance has comprised of the fitting of a new alternator, distributor, battery, water pump and interior light switch. Paperwork included in the file verifies that the cylinder head has been overhauled and refaced, and the motor car has been converted to run on unleaded fuel. Certainly one for the MG enthusiast, this exciting and unusual Roadster comes to the market from a collector who has decided to reduce his stable of classic cars.
