Made by Veluce Ltd between 1948 and 1971, the LE stood for Little Engine, the capacity being 149cc. It was very popular with the Police Forces at the time and some fifty different constabularies purchased them. In this regard they were known as Noddies, as their riders were obliged to nod at senior officers as they rode by. Suspension was by telescopic forks at the front and swinging arms at the rear.

On offer here is a very smart 192cc restored example, finished in black with grey wheels and new, polished leg shields. The restoration included an engine and gearbox overhaul with all cables and gaskets replaced. The radiator has been tested by a specialist. As well as the aforesaid leg shields, the motorcycle boasts new foot boards and rubbers and a new saddle assembly.

The file supplied with the Velocette includes invoices, a spare parts list, the V5 document and the V5C registration certificate.
