The most famous of all Triumph motorcycles was the Bonneville, named after the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, where several motorcycle companies tried to break speed records.  Many Bonnevilles were raced with great success in production classes, particularly on the Isle of Man. The first Bonneville appeared in 1959 and the popular model has evolved ever since, continuously recreated for the modern rider.

This new generation Bonneville is powered by a hefty 865cc twin engine, and is finished in the ultra-safe colour of yellow with silver mudguards and (many) chrome fittings. The supplying dealer was Pidcock of Nottingham and the current owner purchased the machine from his son’s girlfriend in 2008; the total ownership is just four and the odometer reading is now 6210 miles. Although the mileage is low, the Triumph has been serviced every year and regularly on time. The petrol tank has been recently removed, checked and sealed internally.

The Bonneville is supplied with the handbook and wallet, the service book, MOT test certificates, the V5C registration certificate and a Foxley Paddock Stand.
