This Triumph was purchased as a restoration project from a Salisbury auction sale by the current custodian on the 16th of October 1982. It was described in the sale catalogue (included in the file) as having an odometer reading of 11000 miles, which was believed to be genuine, and that it was last taxed for the road in 1939.
A full restoration was completed in 1990 and since then, it has been seldom used, hence the current mileage of 11674. The stylish machine remains in excellent pristine condition and has clearly been cherished by its custodian. Recommissioning work has been carried out this year; the motorcycle is now equipped with a new battery and the magneto has been re-wound and rebuilt by a renowned electrical specialist.
Included in the history file is the aforementioned 1982 auction catalogue, eight photographs and the V5C registration certificate.
