1987 Toyota MR2 Mk I

Considered by many to be the best of the MR2s in terms of handling and sheer fun, the Mk I offered exciting motoring for two in a comfortable cockpit.

This original example was acquired by the vendor in January 1994 and is described as good, apart from two small dings to the body. The blue velour trim is also said to be in good original condition and the original blue floor covering is still in place.

The very sporty 1587cc engine is mounted amidships and coupled to a five speed manual gearbox. All instruments are present and working. The original wheels have recently been re-shod with new tyres.

Having been garaged all its life, this little sports car has clearly been well loved but after twenty-eight years, the vendor feels it is time for someone else to enjoy the sheer brilliance of owning an MR2.

The substantial documentation includes a V5C registration certificate, an MOT test certificate to April 2022 and invoices for recent work around 2016/2017, including drive belt and timing belt replacements. A workshop manual is also present.
