This splendidly statuesque Packard formed part of a Devonian wedding car fleet until it was laid-up due to its owner’s recent retirement. The 5.3 litre eight cylinder Packard starts and runs but would now benefit from a recommissioning service. We understand that the bodywork could be improved; specifically, some rust repairs are required, and should the new owner so wish, there are areas which could be improved by a fresh coat of paint. However, the front leather seats are serviceable and the rear compartment, trimmed in grey cloth, is in very good condition, as are the two folding occasional seats and the rear headlining. The glass division is in working order. The Packard is equipped with Marchal lighting, twin mount spare wheels and a useful luggage rack.

Interestingly, the two most recent owners were wedding car companies and the motor car is in fact a movie star, having appeared in ‘The Mummy Returns’ and ‘Churchill’s Last Stand’, as well as on television.

The Super Eight is supplied with a new battery and its original stork mascot, together with the V5C registration certificate and its replacement and sundry SORN documentation.

Addendum: Please note that we have discovered that the clutch is stuck on, possibly due to the two or three year period of storage.
