This home market British built Morris Mini Moke really does deserve the kiss of life. It has been in its current ownership since June 1986, when the vendor purchased a Dorset caravan park. In those early days, the Moke was used to run around the park, collecting and changing Calor gas bottles on its journeys. It was also used by a friend of the family to teach his sons how to drive; one summer holiday, the boys thought it would be a good idea to repaint the Moke in what they thought to be Calor red, hence the vehicle’s current striking livery.

So, clearly for this vehicle, what you see is what you get: for example, there is no hood, windscreen or passenger seats etc... We are informed that the Moke is fitted with a later type engine unit which does apparently start and run.

These early British examples are now rather rare and coupled to the fact that parts are readily available, we think that this presents itself as a worthwhile and fun project. Although there is no documentation with the Moke, the chassis, commission and body numbers are present on the vehicle and the original Somerset registration number plates are also fitted.
