The MG marque, founded by Cecil Kimber in the late 1920s whilst in charge of Morris Garages, has long provided entertaining motoring for the sporting fraternity, with much success on the track and in sporting trials. The Midget name has been handed down through several generations of MGs and many still survive giving a great deal of pleasure to their owners.

From a deceased estate, this Midget was the subject of a specialist bare shell photographic rebuild in 1993. At a cost of almost £7000, the MG also had a new unleaded engine installed. With changes of ownership, the majority of the regular maintenance and repairs were carried out by specialists up until and after the deceased custodian purchased the sports car in December 2010. The MG was seldom used during this ownership and from 2015, it was dry stored until recently when it was presented for an MOT test. Remarkably, the Midget passed with only one advisory. The interior, with was replaced in the restoration, should clean up and the body of the Midget is relatively rust free.

This project MG is supplied with a history file that contains the aforementioned photographs, a large quantity of invoices, MOT test certificates and the V5C registration certificate.
