1973 MG B Roadster

The ever-popular MG B Roadster is a familiar sight on Britain’s roads; with just under 400,000 produced for eighteen years from 1962, these sports cars have certainly retained broad appeal. And rightly so: stylish, economical and very pleasurable to drive, for many there isn’t a better British classic of the era to own than the mighty Roadster.

The property of a life-long MG enthusiast, this example has been dismantled to the bare bodyshell, prepared and professionally resprayed in March 2014. The new wire wheels have been very effectively powder coated in the body colour and new tyres fitted. Prior to the paint, we are informed that the bodyshell was in exceptional condition, with a very good panel fit. The upholstery has been renewed with tan leather, new carpets and a new hood. The mechanical aspect has been checked and all components inspected and replaced as required. We understand that the engine and overdrive gearbox are both good; a complete braking system overhaul has been carried out with new calipers fitted, and the steering and suspension checked with new Spax shock absorbers installed. The MG is fitted with a new oil cooler and braided hoses. The motor car has a stainless steel exhaust system.
