Lot No: 234

First introduced in 1989, the Discovery has become as synonymous with the English countryside as its cousin, the Defender, has. Based on the Range Rover’s chassis and drive train, the Disco was marketed as a more affordable luxurious off-road vehicle to the British public.

Definitely not a classic just yet, this 2000 Discovery is however a very useful 4x4, equally ideal for travelling around the countryside as it is for towing an historic vehicle. With a Bi Gas conversion fitted in 2006 and an engine replacement costing £4700 in 2009, this popular model will no doubt earn its keep. A tidy interior adds to its charms, but unfortunately it has a misfire when switching over to gas. Otherwise mechanically, the vehicle is described as ‘good’.

The Disco is supplied with paperwork relating to the gas conversion and engine replacement, together with other general service invoices, handbooks and the V5C registration certificate.
