1979 Honda XL185

The XL185 was dual-sport motorcycle produced from 1979 to 1999, with 180cc four stroke S.O.C.H, single cylinder engine, suitable for both road and off road use. It has a 5 speed gearbox and twin seat.

This machine has not been used for some ten years. The vendor tells us that it starts and runs and can be used as is, but the new custodian may wish to restore and re-commission. Prior to coming off the road it was used as daily transport, but a back injury has precluded further use.

The blue paintwork has blemishes to the tank and the mudguards are described as scruffy, not surprising as it has had both on and off road use. The Honda is equipped with Renthal handlebars.

TJY 673T comes with a current V5C registration document showing the present owner has had the motorcycle since 1998. Some spare parts are also supplied, together with a workshop manual.
