1999 Honda CB500

First arriving in 1993, with production ending ten years later, the water cooled, parallel twin, two cylinder 499cc CB500 was popular with commuters because of its efficient handling and relatively low cost. Reliability was key as well, and few motorcycles of the era could better Honda for build quality.

This particular machine, boasting a very striking livery affectionately known as Cadbury Creme Egg, has had just one previous owner and has been in the current enthusiast custodianship for approximately a decade. The low mileage is correct as the Honda was apparently in storage for around thirteen years, and it has clearly been well cared for throughout its twenty three year history. The current owner has recently fitted a new battery, new plugs and new Pirelli tyres, and the CB500 is supplied with its original tool kit. We understand the motorcycle to be serviced and ready for the road this summer.

Included in the history file is the original handbook, the service records, MOT test certificates, the V5C registration certificate and other documentation.
