Founded in 1919 by Gordon Inglesby Francis and Arthur Barnett started production in Coventry. The triangulated frame and straight tubes made for easy maintenance. By the 1930’s, the 250cc engine was developed and its innovative flared design gave the motorcyclist protection from dirt and oil. Associated Motor Cycles took over the company in 1947 and with addition of James in 1957 the company continued until 1966 when production ceased.

This delightful and very original Falcon has been a ‘good friend’ of its owner and his wife, who have both enjoyed the motorcycle since 1996. It has taken them to vintage rallies and on club road runs (as a member of the British Two-Stroke Club) safely, pleasurably and without drama. However, the vendor has decided that regrettably, it is now time to part with his beloved machine. The Falcon will require recommissioning prior to returning to the road, but a super motorcycle should be easily achievable.

Supplied with the Francis-Barnett are some spare parts and a history file which includes the V5 document, the V5C registration certificate, an instruction book, a Villiers parts list, copies of manuals, data and others.
