Founded in 1861, The Birmingham Small Arms Company Limited was a major producer of firearms and ammunition, bicycles, motorcycles, vehicles and military equipment, until it became  defunct in 1973.

According to the RF60 green Log Book s, CYY 132C was delivered to The Home Office on 18th March 1965, which accounts for its green paintwork and fitted panier carriers. Old MOT certificates show it was in private hands during the 1980’s and the vendor’s husband appears to have acquired  it in April 2009.

We understand that, although the motorcycle appears to be all correct and in good order, it has not been run for some while. With careful re-commissioning, the 350cc single should burst into life and the hedgerows will once again reverberate to that nostalgic thumping of a strong and healthy steed.

A modern V5C registration certificate accompanies this motorcycle together with a few old MOT certificates, an early tax disc and various DVLA correspondences. It is currently sorned.
