1969 Austin Mini Cooper 1000 Mk II

Mini ownership has given great joy to many since first appearing in 1957. Frugal yet nippy and with bags of character, the Mini has appealed to all manner of motorists and their enthusiasm lives on some 55 years later. You are sure to find a local Mini Owners Club not far from your home.

This extremely original restoration project has been barn dry stored for some twenty years.  It has the advantage of not being 'got at' by an amateur restorer to be later abandoned and dismantled; indeed, the correct brakes and running gear are still in place. We are informed that the engine starts (with a good battery) and runs, and that the brakes are freed - off.

First registered in Southampton, this 998cc Mini Cooper has had just three owners; the current custodian has owned the motor car since 1998.

This rare opportunity project is supplied with the V5 registration document and sundry old MOT test certificates.
