Designated (ADO38), the A60 was produced from 1961 to 1969 and had the Farina style coachwork with spacious accommodation for 4-5 persons, plus a generous boot for family luggage. Power came from the rugged BMC B Series four cylinder engine, driving through a four speed manual gearbox to the rear axle. 81mph was claimed as top speed and about 25mpg economy, and it remains highly useable motor car which is popular at shows but can be comfortably used on a more regular basis.

It is understood that this example has had just one owner from new. Now sadly part of a deceased estate, the motor car has resided in the Yeovil area for its entire life and has clearly been a cherished member of the family. The interior is in nice original condition and we understand the underside to be solid and original too. The bodywork has been repainted at some point in the past. The Cambridge is in good order overall, but as it has been stored for some time, it will require mechanical recommissioning before returning to the road this summer. A new battery has been very recently fitted.

The history file contains the original driver’s handbook, fourteen old tax discs dating from 1998, a parts book, photographs, the V5C registration certificate and its replacement.
