The Alfa Romeo Spider was manufactured and marketed from 1966 until 1994. The Quadrifoglio Verde (Green Four Leaf Clover) model was introduced in 1986; a total overhaul of design and with many aesthetic enhancements meant that the stylish Cloverleaf was of its generation, the epitome of the 1980s culture of social mobility. The model boasted side skirts with new front and rear spoilers, a third spotlight and 15" alloy wheels. The Cloverleaf's interior was brought bang up to date with the enhancement of red carpets and grey leather seats with contrast stitching, and only three bodywork colours were available red, silver and black. Mechanics were based on the Veloce model with its four-cylinder engine and five speed gearbox.

We understand that this very rare Green Cloverleaf Edition was the top model for its year.  Even more unusually, it has factory fitted right hand drive steering. The motor car was purchased by its current owner in 1994 with just one previous custodian. We are told that it was in regular use until 2017 and then dry stored pending work to the underside for its MOT test. The Alfa will require work then in order to return it to the road, most of which will be to the underside, but it apparently runs and is complete with a new hood and leather seats all to be fitted. The carpets are original.

The V5C registration certificate is supplied.
