Spring 2015

Our Spring Sale on the 19th of March will include a superb selection of quality vehicles, ranging from early motor cars to modern classics via motorcycles and commercial vehicles, and over two hundred lots of automobilia. Heading the vehicle line-up are four exceptional motor cars: a rare and recently restored pre-launch 1959 Daimler ‘A Spec’ SP250 Dart that was proudly displayed at the 2012 NEC Classic Car Show; a superb 1931 Humber Snipe Tourer from a private collection; and two concours award winners: a cherished 1962 MG A 1600 Mk II Roadster and a 1949 Alvis TA14 Drophead Coupe by Carbodies, that has also undergone a restoration in the current ownership. Alongside these,  we will offer motor cars ranging from the pre-war (including an original Austin 7 Nippy and a ‘7’ RP Box Saloon, as well as a 1928 Morris Oxford 13.9hp Saloon), to modern classics such as a super 1961 Ford Zephyr Mk II Saloon, an immaculate 1969 Rover P5B Saloon and a smart 1973 Triumph TR6 PI. For those looking for a commercial project, the extremely rare c.1944 Morris-Commercial C8 Field Artillery Tractor "Quad" with No 5 Body should fit the bill; these commercials played an important role in the Second World War, making this example an important part of our military heritage.
