In 1965, Rolls-Royce introduced an entirely new design with unitary construction, self-levelling independent suspension and servo assisted brakes with three separate circuits. Power was provided by a V8 engine of 6750cc, driving through a GM three speed automatic gearbox. Progress was swift for such a large car and the smoothness was exceptional.

This particular Silver Shadow 1 appears to be an honest example and is described as such. We are informed that the body and paint are ‘fine’ for their age and that the bodywork has been resprayed at some point; however, apparently the bumpers do require some slight attention. The smart grey leather upholstery and original trim is all in good condition and all instruments are in good working order. Mechanically, we understand that the Rolls-Royce has no known faults; recently, the motor car has been treated to new power steering.

The large history file contains service history, correspondence, invoices, MOT test certificates, the original handbooks, the service books and the V5C registration certificate. The road tax classification for this motor car is 'historic'.
