Founded in 1987 by brothers Mark and Harvey Wooldridge, Quantum is a small sports car company that initially produced models based on the Ford Fiesta. The motor cars were offered in either factory assembled form, or as a kit; early models were coupes, evolving onto saloons based on the Fiesta Mk II. By 1993, the company also offered 2+2 convertibles, and the ‘H4’ arrived in 1998, using the nippy Fiesta XR2i with a twin cam 1600cc engine as its donor. Production of the H4 ceased in 2003 after just 215 models were manufactured.

We understand that AIG 7934 is a factory built example and was in the previous family ownership from 2004. It boasts refinements such as power assisted steering, central locking and electric windows; the removable roof panel can be stowed inside the boot and the remaining glass ‘back window’ then pivots into the rear bodywork of the motor car, producing a true convertible. We are assured by the vendor that the exciting Quantum is ‘a very nice car to drive, with enough power and very good handling'. There are no known faults with the sports car and it is described as good in all departments. The private registration number is included in the sale of this economical and fun summer runabout.

The H4i Quantum is supplied with a V5C registration certificates, invoices and other sundry paperwork.
