With an accessible spares back up and the superb Morris Minor Owners’ Club for support, the Minor is as popular today as it was in its heyday. It provides reliable and economical classic motoring, as ideal for family outings as it is for practical, every day transport.

Supplied new from Brooks Garage of Martock, Somerset, this delightful and versatile Minor 1000 Traveller has been the subject of a comprehensive restoration, carried out by its previous custodian approximately five years ago. Work included a total strip-down, body repairs as necessary, the fitting of an all new timber frame and a complete respray. For the interior, a new headlining and carpets were fitted and the upholstery was renewed to the original material and colour. The Minor is also equipped with a new windscreen. The mechanics have clearly not been overlooked: all components were checked at the time of restoration, the steering rack and shock absorbers were renewed, a new unleaded cylinder head was fitted, together with a new radiator and new tyres. The braking system has also been overhauled, and fitted with new: wheel cylinders, master cylinder, linings, handbrake cables and brake drums. The engine, gearbox and rear axle are in good order.

Having exchanged post-war Morris motoring for pre-war, the vendor is reluctantly offering this excellent Traveller for sale, supplied with some spare parts and a history file that contains amongst others the V5C registration certificate, a quantity of MOT test certificates, images and sundry invoices.
