Now more popular than ever since production ceased, the Land Rover in all shapes and sizes has provoked increasing interest. Tough and dependable, the Landy has tackled extreme conditions of terrain and weather and has maintained strong support through national and local clubs, so that ownership can be embarked upon with confidence.

Offered here is a vehicle whose usage is a little different as it has actually been a successful wedding car. The Limestone paintwork would work with most bridal ensembles and the seven seat black upholstery (with removable white covers) takes nothing from the beauty of the betrothed. There is rubber matting to the front and as one would expect, carpeting to the rear. The 2250 cc petrol engine provides power.

This vehicle left Solihull works as an export model, albeit registered in the town and in right hand drive format. It does not seem to have gone abroad as planned, and in 2015 joined the said wedding hire fleet where it received restoration, including a complete respray (without the use of body filler), a new gearbox and a new clutch. A heater was added from a Mini and new tyres fitted in 2016.

The vehicle is supplied with the V5C registration certificate, an old V5 document, comprehensive and useful maintenance notes (which confirm the high standard of the Land Rover) and an MOT test certificate to 25th January 2022. The original road wheels are included in the sale; they have been sand blasted and etched primed. Collection or delivery will be by arrangement only.

Gently used Land Rovers are seldom to be seen but no doubt this one will tackle the rough stuff if required in typical Landy fashion.
