Founded in 1919, Gordon Inglesby Francis and Arthur Barnett started motorcycle production in Coventry. The triangulated frame and straight tubes made for easy maintenance. By the 1930’s, the 250cc engine was developed and its innovative flared design gave the motorcyclist protection from dirt and oil. Associated Motor Cycles took over the company in 1947 and with addition of James in 1957 the company continued until 1966 when production ceased.

This delightful and easy-to-ride Plover, finished in the traditional Francis-Barnett green, is an ideal first classic motorcycle for a young enthusiast or lady rider, as it is a light machine to handle. We understand that the Plover is in very original condition and appears to have been well-looked after.

724 YUG is supplied with its V5C registration certificate.
