Supplied new by Fowlers Garage of Newport, Isle of Wight, this Minor Pick up has resided on the island for its entire life. It was found and purchased by its current custodian in a derelict condition on Shalfleet Quay in 2004. A thorough restoration followed, beginning with a total strip-down and then the fitting of a new chassis; new seats, cab carpets and canvas tilt; a new wiring loom, brake pipes, hoses and new tyres. The engine, gearbox and rear axle were all checked and serviced. The front wings and tailgate were also replaced and a respray was carried out, in the original colour. Although not in concours standard, KDL 728F has been restored as a good, usable pick-up truck and would be an excellent platform to advertise a small business or just to enjoy at rallies and classic car events.
Supplied with the Morris is the V5C registration certificate and sundry paperwork.
